Kingdom Racing is an INDYCAR racing team with a unique mission: To Deliver God’s Word through Motorsports. We are a non-denominational Christian organization that believes the bible is the irrefutable Word of God. The Word forms the basis of relationships undertaken for operating the race team, serving our sponsors and communication with our fan base. By combining with national organizations that share this core value, we offer on and off track related outreach programs that will build disciples of men, women and children. For more information, please read and study the Kingdom Racing FAQ.
In 2008, Kingdom Racing made history as the first faith-vision team to ever compete in the vaunted Indianapolis 500 mile race. To date, we have 6 years of race performance with INDYCAR drivers Davey Hamilton and Simon Pagenaud. Together, we have run 6 consecutive Indy 500 mile races and concluded our second full season of INDYCAR competition in 2013. Kingdom Racing has also established relationships with key national partners and ministries such as Man in the Mirror, Creation Museum, Fiesta Mart Inc., Athletes in Action, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, INDYCAR Ministry and Campus Crusade for Christ.
Our unique outreach program combines exciting INDYCAR races along with top Christian entertainment provided at trackside fan festivals and deeply personal VIP outreach through our incredible Miles of Smiles ministry. Our goal is to use INDYCAR races as a platform to reach 1,000,000 men for Jesus Christ!
Kingdom Racing was formed by George Del Canto, a Houston businessman with absolutely no connection to racing except that as a young boy Del Canto was an avid race fan. But never in his dreams did he imagine that one day he would combine his passion for auto-racing to serve Christ. But God did.
The Lord has given us the INDYCAR field to sow, and we intend to do so in a manner worthy of His name,” Del Canto says. Kingdom Racing is a true testimony of how God uses ordinary people to achieve the extraordinary…all for His glory!
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
