Why Donations are Important
Just as it takes lots of fuel to compete in the INDYCAR Series Championship, financial donations and volunteerism are the collective lifeblood of the Kingdom Racing ministry, fueling our several outreach programs both during the racing schedule as well as throughout the off-season. The Kingdom Racing team is unique in that we depend on gifts from generous people like you who believe in assisting with the incredible work God has charged us with.
This is an exciting time of year as those throughout the racing community begin to rev their engines for the upcoming 2013 INDYCAR season, including the cornerstone 97th Indianapolis 500, The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, this coming Memorial Day weekend. The schedule leading up to and immediately following this storied franchise includes the Grand Prix of Long Beach, the Toronto Grand Prix, and the original nighttime INDYCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway, which will all be joined in 2013 by the all-new resurrection of the Grand Prix of Houston in October. Thrilling times certainly await in 2013, for sure!
Kingdom Racing, active in the INDYCAR Series and participant in the “500” since 2008, has become an integral part of that fabled legacy and, in 2013, will be making our sixth consecutive appearance in this iconic American sports ritual. Alongside the most talented racing field in the world, Kingdom Racing is a uniquely faith-based team charged to reach One Million Men for Jesus Christ by Delivering God's Word through Motorsports.
Kingdom Racing is partnered with Schmidt Hamilton Motorsports and the No. 77 team that will be piloted for the second straight year by sensational French racing driver Simon Pagenaud. We were blessed with an incredibly magical season last year as Pagenaud captured 2012 Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and a fifth-place championship finish in his first full season of INDYCAR competition.
But that's just the action on the track. Kingdom Racing's main focus actually takes place just beside it in the grandstands and infields of racing facilities across the Americas.
What Your Donations Mean to the Mission
We accomplish our mission in several exciting ways. On race weekends, we deploy a faithful team of Infield Ambassadors to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to fans as well as provide exciting entertainment and opportunities to meet various Christian racing personalities who share their amazing testimonies through our Fan Festivals and Miles of Smiles outreach programs.
Fan Festivals have been an integral facet of Kingdom Racing outreach since the team’s formation. Thousands have already been reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ and there is no reason to stop there! These festivals are intentionally located in the area of highest traffic at race tracks, allowing us to reach and impact as many people as possible for God at each race event via our personnel, volunteers, show cars and other thrilling attractions.
While each Fan Festival is custom tailored, most will include a talented praise band, outreach ambassadors, an actual show car for fans to sit in and have their picture made, as well as autograph sessions with Kingdom Racing drivers and other celebrities.
Did you know that it requires more than $500,000 to fund these crucial and inspirational programs? This is where there exists a deep need for your assistance and prayer. Even if you cannot afford to give from your heart right now, we could always use your prayers just the same. Your prayerful donation can and will make a huge impact in our outreach this season and beyond. If you can give please do. Every little bit helps His kingdom grow!

As Jesus gathered a group of ordinary people to launch a movement that transformed the world, we too have been commissioned to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Mathew 28:19. Kingdom Racing are regular people going about doing God’s business in the fields He has appointed for us, which are the infields and grandstands of race tracks across America. We are competing at the highest levels of open wheel racing and, partnering with national Christian organizations that share this mission, will produce race festivals and related ministry events that will demonstrate the Christian walk in faith.
