OUR STORY

Kingdom Racing is a story about God and how He uses everyday people to accomplish His kingdom building. George Del Canto is a dedicated and accomplished business man. Having successfully built new business ventures for companies in several locations worldwide, Del Canto has undertaken a vision to develop a winning race team and turn it into reality. His passion for auto racing began as a little boy, when his father-who had ties with Formula One-took him to many races, including the Indianapolis 500. George believes the Lord has led him to combine this desire of his heart, with his business skill to spread His Word through auto racing. In May of 2008, Kingdom Racing made history as the first faith based organization to ever compete in the 100 years of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway by qualifying the No 22 HP/Kingdom Racing entrant and finishing 14th, on the same lap as the winner of the Indianapolis 500.

• Kingdom Racing will race to win. Winning brings credibility, exposure and validates the mission.

• Race team members will be comprised of experienced professionals with proven race winning history in the IndyCar Series.

• From the transport driver to the race car driver, Kingdom Racing will expect the highest level of excellence, character and integrity, in conduct and performance, both on and off the track.

A WINNING MINISTRY

• Through Race Festivals, daily ministry and worship events we will give race fans an opportunity to come to Jesus Christ.

• Events will be composed around race themes, with Christian music, media, race-simulators and personal testimonies by personalities.

• The festivals will be coordinated through the efforts of the team, the Man in the Mirror organization, raceway ministries, national Christian ministries, the IRL Ministry, as well as local churches.
